Whenever I go to the 76 station, the employee at the counter always knows me. Seeing how I go every two or three days, they can't help but remember, and my last name being Street helps them to remember as well. They are always nice to me and not having to show my identification with my goofy picture is always a plus.
I guess in retrospect, I am treated like I am welcome there, and they know me, so not having to show my i.d. is a plus when having to use my debit or credit card. Also, the 50 cents I save when filling my tank is a plus.
I know it isn't much of a story, but I can't really remember any good experiences at stores or anything like that. When I go to other stores, I ask where something is, and I buy it.
I've been sitting here trying to remember a time that I can write about good customer service. Not just good customer service like; hey I need something, let's go get it, oh hey it's here, and buy it. Ten points! No.
My god. I just remembered. I was at Universal Studios with my parents and our family friend came over to the restaurant we were at, but she had a friend. It was her boyfriend that she wanted us to meet. Turns out, it was his birthday! Unfortunately, he didn't want a song to be sung or anything of the sort, but we talked to our waiter and he made it happen.
When we talked to the waiter, we made it clear that our new friend didn't want a party and anything of the sort to happen, so we wanted to be obnoxious and do it anyways because we are mean like that. Some will call it hazing, but we had to do it if he was going to be our new friend.
Some time went by and the waiter came back and gave our friend a cake. The waiter got everyone together and screamed at the top of his lungs; WE GOT A BIRTHDAY IN THE HOUSE!! Our friend was BRIGHT RED.
The waiter went all out! It was amazing! He yelled the song at the top of his lungs, and danced his heart out. It could easily be said to be the funniest and most amazing birthday celebration in a Bubba Gump or any other restaurant in the history or restaurant birthday songs.
Needless to say, or new friend was very upset and bright red, and wanted to leave right away. We all had a blast during the celebration, and the waiter did too. That day, our waiter got a $100.00 tip.
